10/27 Meeting Minutes

Theme:

Announcements:
  • Requirements are due November 8th!

Meet our Advisors:

Chapter relations (section 30 and region 8,) resume writing, rules of campus, working with money, finding meeting locations, finding jobs on campus, and event planning and logistics (like conferences).
Graduate school search/application/interview process, resume building, professionalism, confrontation and difficult conversations, inclusive language and triggering situations, public speaking membership/retention, national bylaws, parliamentary procedure, risk management, and event/program planning.

SLiCE related things, (which include the REAL Experience, Campus Step Up A Social Justice Retreat, TEDxCSU, CSU Catalyst Conference, CSU/UADY International Leadership Exchange, and LeaderShape,) leadership, and difficult conversations.

Accounting, international service projects, job hunting, resume building, and interviewing.

Job hunting in the world of natural resources, scouting and forest service service projects, and public speaking.

    • There is a costume contest, if you want/feel comfortable, dress up for a chance to win!

10/20 Meeting Minutes

Theme:

APO Shares:
  • Places we donate the money we fundraise.
  • Last Semester we donated $1,000 to 4 different organizations in our community

    • The Family Center (affordable, Early Childhood Center)

      • $1,000 for each night with 30 volunteers.
